HI everyone.. i know ive been really slack.. but lets just put it down to STUPID FACEBOOK!!! im addicted and spend most of my alone time on there now.

 

So.. atm I am planning Millies 1st birthday.. but lets re-wind for a second cause lots has been missed.

Firstly, we have celebrated Renee and Adams wedding YAY! and atm they are STILL in Thailand on their honeymoon.. but they get back tomorrow!! YAY again. I dont have any pics cause we didnt take our camera.. i know stupid.. so anyway all the pics are on my facebook atm and i will transfer them over soon. as will i do the same thing with new pics of Millie.

 

AND as no one prob reads this site anymore im really just gonna keep updating it so Millie has a lifestory to read when shes a bit older!

 

Ok, back to it.. Millie now has 3 teeth, but is looking a bit like a Hobo as she has 2 bottom and only 1 top. a few ppl have commented it apparently good for opening cans of "drink"and so its kinda been dubbed a can tooth! haha.. what else.. she is cruising EVERYWHERE.. it sometimes drives me insane but i am sooo proud of her and especially love seeing her fall over and just straight back up again (u thought i was going to leave it at falling over! haha.. )  She is in LOVE with dogs and birds.. BUT only big dogs.. for some weird reason Millie is scared to death of puppies.. only person in the world im sure. So, we have been making a few trips to Puppyworld and making sure she plays with lots of different dogs (thanks Trudy, Emma and Leah). She is especially fond of Cattle dogs and Tonka.. first dog she actually put her hand out to pat herself.. except she kinda spewed on the way! haha.. on Daddy too so he was not happy. Oh have to mention here Congrats to my cousin Darren who is FINALLY marrying Marion next yr.. we had their engagement party on Sat nite.. thats where the spew episode happened!

 

What else.. Milile NON STOP talks.. i already know what the parent teacher interviews are going to be like.. haha.. seriously she never shuts up.. even when Nonna Maria came up from Melbourne a few weeks ago, we were in the car going somewhere and she was sitting next to Mil in the back seat and she was like.. does this kid ever stop talking?? haha thats pretty rich coming from an Italian grandmother.. even if you dont have one of your own you can imagine. My Nonna can talk under water! So, yes Mil also got to meet her great-grandmother Nonna Maria as well.. funny story- becuase N.M. is a new person in Millies life and she is older now etc.. shes kinda in this phase where she wont automatically go to ppl like littler babies do.. so anyway, she wouldnt go to NM for a cuddle... while she was here,  she came over to our house to see it and Dad said to her to give Mil money if she wanted a cuddle. So NM asked for a cuddle and Mil shook her head (oh yeh she does that alot now.. shakes her head NO!) .. anyway, then NM said "ïll give you $5 if you come to me." and Milile did!! hahaha.. i soo did not teach her that but it was great!

 

So.. Mil also loves the water and is always splashing in Mum n Dads pool. We will try and put her in lessons soon i think but its hard cause Daddy wants to take you but he is working sooo much right now. (sorry about the person talking change there). Yeh so Rob got a new job.. hes a Concrete Batcher now... no idea dont ask! haha.. something like.. he puts the concrete into the trucks and tells them where they are going next. All i know is that he starts about 3am every morning and gets home about 4.30/5pm, and he has his own office and phone so its so much easier to call him now.. ohh or should i say easier for Millie to call him now.. yes she LOVES the phone (surprise surprise) and actually figured out how to call her Daddy a few weeks ago. i had just spoken to him and hung up and left the phone on the floor. She must have hit redial.. so i came back, and she was talking into it but i thought she was just playing so i took it off her (cause shes not supposed to play with the real phone- she has her own) and put it on the bench. Rob came home that nite and I- yes I, got in trouble for letting her play with the phone, but said he really enjoyed his phone call.. he was tlaking to her and she was full talking back! haha.. i had no idea.. i think i was off peeing or something!

 

Millie is crawling everywhere.. teach her how to crawl they say... to anyone thinking of having kids.. DONT TEACH THEM HOW TO CRAWL!! or if you do, make sure you have NOTHING on ground level.. or.. better still, build a cage they can crawl around in. Everything is everywhere.. i cant clean up cuase Mil is into everything.. and yes i know it will get worse when shes walking.. thank you very much for reminding me!! haha. she eats (or drinks) her moisturiser... its the one thing i have to make sure is hidden and out of reach.. she smells beautiful all the time but gross!! it goes on your bum not in your mouth! cardboard, newspaper, plastic bags.. anything she can get in her mouth will.. OHH YEH.. her new one.. concrete and rocks.. no joke.. she LOVES it. chews on it like its chewing gum while im hanging out the washing. gross

 

has bit me a couple of times now.. nearly dropped her the first time. right on my collar bone. owww..

 

oh back to the crawling.. has permentenly red knees atm but thats from crawling on the concrete.. der.

 

So.. Millie turns one in like 4 weeks. Pretty scary. I cant believe how fast that yr went by. its really sad actually. A whole yr of her life is already almost gone. You wish and wish for them to do more and more every day but when you look back its like.. where did it go? This is why ppl have more babies. Mil can feed herself now, shes mobile - almost walking.. wheres my baby who just eat, slept and pooped? Although yes i dont miss those days alot you miss having this tiny little person whos so fragile and needs you 24/7. Mil is turning out to be the roughest tom boyish baby ever. its fantastic and im soo proud of her but yeh.. miss it sometimes.

 

Eg. twice she has pulled a chair over onto her head at Mum n Dads.. i freak out, she tries to stand up using the same chair. haha...

Very quickly- not really gonna type a story just notes and ill fill it in later.

 

Today we went to Playgroup up at the uni. Was crap. Very boring.. mums were soo nice but no one for Mil to play with so probably wont go back. 

 

Mil has started crawling with her head up yay!

 

Can now say Ta when she wants something (working on saying it when she actually gets it) and ta-ta (for bye).  

 

 

 

 

HELLO!! Today Millie's first tooth FINALLY cut through.. Ok so here's what happened. I was shopping at Garden city and had stopped in the Kamrt shoe section for a sec cause i had given Millie a biscuit to eat cause she was getting hungry, and i noticed that it was ALL over her.. so i stopped to clean some of the mess up. She had a bit of biccie on her cheek so i scooped it up with my finger and shoved it in her mouth.. BUT on the way out something scratched my finger!!!! So i had a look and another feel around and YEP the top of her tooth.. like all the little grooves, have cut through but you cant actually see the tooth yet. Hopefully by morning though it will be there.

 

In other news, my cousin Darren and his gf Marion got engaged today. YAY for them.

6 weeks until Nee and Adams wedding.. whoo hoo!!

And 7 days until my BIRTHDAY!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!

Oh, took Milile to UQ yesterday for another study but it was a sound one and they wanted her to wear a hat with head phones in them.. not a chance. She cracked BIG time and we left. Oh, also on 3 bottles a day now- she's growing so fast!

 Well, last Thursday we finally moved into our new house in Loganlea. It's awesome- 3 bedrooms, double garage, HUGE ASS yard, park across the road (which we are still yet to visit), big kitchen.. its great! Millie wouldnt sleep in her room the first nite so she slept with us but she's been fine since then. Speaking of Millie she can now clap- it is sooo cute! And she has almost learnt to blow kisses.. ive been trying to teach her but she just claps at me! hehe. She is almost 9 mths.. i cant believe it!! And is just getting so big now and exploring more and more. She is a hoon in her walker.. hates being still.. wont crawl yet but can definately get around walking! She barely even lets us carry her anymore cause she'd rather walk. Almost standing up by herself too- like she can already stand up holding onto something but a few times she has stood up alone for just a few secs before getting shaky again. Its pretty exciting!

 

So i am just blogging to share our new house details mainly but i guess i summed it up already pretty well! You will just have to see it for yourself and see how fantastic it is! Well actually, it will be heaps better when we put our patio on. That is our project for the next couple of months. Lots of concrete, roofing and best of all decorating! I will be having my bday party here soon without all that so everyone will just have to bring a chair! Oh.. that would be because we chucked all our chairs btw.. hehe we have no dining room chairs, no computer chair.. seriously we just decided to chuck everything expect the fouton. We kept only 1 recliner and that was cause we thought we would actually use/need it. We also chucked our 2 china cabinets thinking that everything would fit in what we had.. NOPE but its all good..

 

Thats pretty much it from us atm.. just a quickky update. I thought i had heaps more to say but obviously not! hehe..

 

OHHHH i almost forgot (how could I?)  My wonderful husband took me to see Thirsty Merc on saturday nite at the Alex Hills Hotel for my bday AND he hooked up with a roady (not like "hooked up" just was really nice) and got their new CD signed for me! They even spelt my name right yay!! It was the best nite ever and the best band i have ever seen.. i LOVE them :) I could have watched them play for a week.. i have now had their CD playing on repeat since Sunday morning! Its just soo good.. seriously do yourself a favour and listen to it! Even if you dont like them- which i find very hard to believe. Also, they are seriously just the nicest down to earth guys.. bad support act but thats probably not their choice! hehe..

Today Millie got her ears pierced YAY! She looks sooo cute! The reason we waited so long was because Millie really loved to pull on her ears when her teeth hurt (as babies do) so we thought that piercing her ears would make it worse. Anyway 8 mths on she still has no teeth, however on the weekend i went to the Parents and Baby expo and every friggen STUPID person we spoke to called her a boy! EVEN though she had purple jeans, a pink top and a pink bib on.. so i came home and spoke to rob and said that she HAD to get earrings cause i was over it! She is the most beautiful baby girl in the world - how can others not see that? (hehe- i know I'm biased but its true!)

 

So anyway after lunch i took her down to Leah's to have them done. I went to the chemist cause apparently there is this numbing cream that you can get nowdays, but they told me she was too young for the one they stocked- so we just did the ol' ice on the lobe trick- hey worked for me in year 9 sose- but thats another story!

 

She did SCREAM but settled down quicker than she does with her needles - i think she didnt like the being held down thing more than shot through the ear. So Millie is now the proud owner of 2 pretty and very sparkly pink earrings! yay!

 

In other news, she stood up in her cot the other day but hasnt done it again, like she fully pulled herself up and was standing there holding on.. she is though standing up - well leaning- on the couch by herself. And she can walk anywhere and everywhere if you are holding her hands, but is still refusing to even go on her belly so i think crawling is out of the question- oh unless its on Mummy and Daddys bed then she will crawl from top to bottom and visa versa millions of times.. weird child haha

 

Millie can also high five now too.. its very cute. Oh and she has just discovered the other baby in the mirror.. she loves looking at her and smiling and talking! haha.. Atm we are trying to teach her to say ta.. she understand what it means cause she does the right actions but just sorta makes a sound instead of saying ta. Well i think thats pretty much it atm- well all i can think of now anyway since its getting late and im tired as.

Oh Congrats to my cousin Aaron who proposed to his girlfriend Krystle in Fiji a couple of nites ago (they were at the wedding for those of you who can remember! The ones from Viccy!)

Hi all

 

Ok, so this year for Nee fest we couldnt go back to Bigriggen (and didnt really WANT to due the knob-headness of the owners- for full story go to www.ifunk.net). So, Andrea and I set out to find somewhere near there that we could camp and found that the next campsite up was friggen cheap as and really beautiful. Everyone else headed up to Flanagans Reserve on Friday nite but because Rob had to work we went and spent the day with everyone on Sunday. We spent the day sitting around the fire just playing with Elli and Millie and just chatting. Rob and the boys also went and took pics which i will put up on his site soon. Was a fantastic day.. and the rain and wind was no where to be seen!!! YaY!

 

Oh have to add here.. We girls are so psycho.. whoops i mean psycics (will fix spelling later).. Andrea and Ed are about to celebrate their 1 yr anniversary- this time last year at NF06 we were trying to convince Andrea that this yr they would be sharing a tent.. See what happens to good ppl!

 

OK guys, on another note..  Robbie and I have sold our unit to a young couple that we actually know from high school and are exactly us 3 years ago.. so i guess thats a good thing cause this unit has been great to us and know it will be to them as well!! ANDDDD.. then on Thursday we went cruising looking at houses and fell IN LOVE with one.. so we fought for it and won YAY! against these FUNKING gross as Siberian or something family who stalked us the weekend before and had a GROTTTY little boy.. so we were happy just to know this beautiful house wasnt going to be owned by a family of dirty dirty ppl.. Anyhoo, if all goes well, our Settlement date is the 27th July and our new address will be......... (drum roll here)
